Naming the fish.

This is something new for Claygate Lakes. Following intensive re-stocking we would like any angler that catches a virgin carp to notify the bailiff and have the catch weighed and verified. The angler will then have the opportunity to name that fish, providing the name is inoffensive it will then be recorded.This will allow us to monitor the fish during its life thus enabling us to monitor the conditions of the fish stocks.

Naming the swims.

Regular anglers will be given the opportunity to name the swims in the future, subject to meeting certain requirements, details to follow shortly.
